In the Community
Dimic Law
Proud to Be Part of Calgary
For Dimic Law being a law firm in Calgary is about more than helping clients with legal matters. It is also about being involved, giving back and supporting the people and organizations that make the city a better place to live and work.
We believe that strong communities are built when people take the time to participate, share their experience and help others move forward.
Supporting Local Organizations
Dimic Law supports local organizations and community initiatives that help individuals and families across Calgary.
Steve Dimic has participated in the Push-Up Challenge for two consecutive years, completing 2,000 push-ups and raising more than $1,000 to support the Canadian Mental Health Association and promote better mental health across Canada.
Dimic Law also supported Inn from the Cold by taking part in a community donation drive that collected approximately 1,500 essential items for Calgarians experiencing homelessness.
Dimic Law is also connected with CCMF Alberta, the Canadian Centre for Men and Families,
an organization that supports men, fathers and families facing difficult personal circumstances.
These connections reflect something Dimic Law see often in their legal work: people sometimes need more than advice. They may also need support, understanding and access to the right community resources.
Mentoring Newcomer Professionals
Dimic Law is involved with mentorship initiatives connected to the Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council, or CRIEC.
Through mentorship, internationally trained professionals can gain a better understanding of the Canadian workplace, build local connections and feel more confident as they continue their careers in Calgary.
With experience in business, accounting, the energy industry and law, Steve Dimic understands how valuable practical guidance and professional encouragement can be. Read more about this here.
Supporting Future Lawyers
Dimic Law also supports opportunities for law students to learn about different career paths within the legal profession.
The firm has participated in initiatives connected with the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, helping students learn more about working in smaller, locally focused law firms.
Dimic Law believes that sharing real-world experience can help future lawyers make better career decisions and become stronger advocates for the communities they serve.
A Continued Commitment
Calgary is where Steve Dimic has built his career, raised his family and developed lasting professional and community relationships.
As Dimic Law continues to grow, the firm remains committed to supporting local organizations, mentoring professionals and finding practical ways to contribute to the community.
